Summary of Yadavaran International Research and Publications Company Yadavaran International Research and Publications Company was established in 1988 Registration No.70686 by the name of NashrYadavaran and started its activities. According to its Article of Association the subject of its activities was supply and distribution of books, participation in making films and tapes, which continues up to present date, and in few stages with addition of more subjects, its activities have been expanded to undertake Research projects, Managing seminar and conferences and rendering supply and support services needed for such gatherings, rendering services of study, management, consultancy, and design in the field of science, education, also comprehensive plan for management capacity building of major plans. Following some changes in the board of share holders, Mr. Khosrow Azarbaijani one of share holders was elected and presently is the managing director and chairman of the board of directors. The company’s activities in the past 20 years can be divided into two periods: In the first period which lasted from establishment upto1998, the company’s major activities was in the field of publications. As from 2004 with changes in the managerial structure and policy, second period of activities began. With the expansion of activities, Research section has been working along with advertisement section and secretariate for conferences and special courses. Nashr-e Yadavaran has changed its name to: Yadavaran International Research and Publications Company. Publications There are many publications by Yadavaran since its establishment. Yadavaran was the selected publisher of the First World Olympiad for Urban Design. Publicity Yadavaran has experience in the field of graphic design, information publications in form of brochure, catalogue, information package, posters, pop-up, billboard, stand etc., and has cooperated with NIOPC, Sistan & Baluchestan Water and Sewage Co., and the International Art & Architecture Research Association ( IAARA). Publication of brochure, stand, pop-up, plexies for Iranian participant in the Third World Urban Forum (WUF) in Vancouver, Canada, June 2006, and 21st Council for UN-HABITAT in Nairubi , Kenya, April 2007, and Fourth World Urban Forum in Nanjing , China, November 2008 are of outstanding projects carried out by Yadavaran . Secretariate for Local and International Conferences and Special Courses In the past 18 months Yadavaran rendered 17 local and international conferences and special courses. Awards Yadavaran Company and its Managing Director during the course of activities have received numerous awards from different organizations: 2008, Introducing Yadavaran in WWW.WORLDARCHITECTURE.ORG 2007, Presentation of Yadavaran Office building in Architectural structures of Architecture and Urbanism Magazine. 2007, receiving award of “Habitat-Friendly” from UN-HABITAT representative for the design of Yadavaran Office design. 2006, Award by chairmen of high council for technical management and high executive council, first international congress of Urban Design International Congress,competition & Celebration (UDIC). 2004, Good Performance Guarantee Certificate in Print and Publications from Public Relations of NIOPC.
